The Sri Lanka-Australia-New Zealand Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce hosted their Members Annual Fellowship on 15th of December at Waters Edge.
The Fellowship Night was attended by a number of distinguished guests including the Australian High Commissioner His Excellency Mr Bryce Hutchesson, Canadian High Commissioner Her Excellency Shelley Whiting, the Sri Lankan Consul for New Zealand Mr. Senaka Silva, Deputy High Commissioner for Australia, Country Manager AUSTRADE and other distinguished guests from the private sector amounting to 200 pax.
The Members Fellowship kick started with the President, Manjula Lanerolle welcoming the gathering, followed by a brief note of appreciation expressed by His Excellency, the Australian High Commissioner and Hon Consul for New Zealand.
The main sponsor for the event was M/s Pulses Splitting & Processing Industry (Pvt) Ltd. While International Distillers Limited was the sponsor of wine and numerous other distinguished organizations played a significant role in sponsoring the impressive layout done at the Nellum Hall.
The party swiftly advanced into quite an exciting night incorporated with an array of raffle draws and a Biala Dance Competition with outstanding gifts lined up for the lucky winners. The band Fire was responsible for the remarkable musical sounds for the evening and all in all it seemed quite evident that the Members Fellowship Night was indeed a celebration of long standing relationships and an illustration of the Council’s prominent stance within the Social, Business and Trade Sector of Sri Lanka.
